Two Means Trouble

Reusable Bags We`ve gone all eco-friendly in our household as concerns about the planet`s welfare have pricked our minds. Instead of using plastic bags when we go to the supermarket we take our own type of Reusable Bags. In the bad old days we would think nothing about cramming our groceries into tons of plastic bags. When we returned home and emptied the bags in the kitchen the chances are they would be thrown away into the bin. Talk about wasteful and this should never have happened because good quality Reusable Bags are much better ideas. The only obstacle we had to get over was to remember to take the bags to the supermarket in the first place. This problem was soon remedied because we decided to leave the bags in the boot of our car ready to be used at the next grocery shop. If only more people could see themselves shopping with these bags there wouldn`t be millions of plastic bags on landfill sites taking ages to rot away. It`s not difficult to reach into the boot of the car to take out Reusable Bags at the local grocery store. Even folks who don`t drive can use these bags as they are easy to carry. I`m glad we have become a little more eco-friendly in our household and have started using the Reusable Bags.
Two can be a blessing, yet can also be trouble at times. I will be writing a series of "sibling" articles in the future about raising my 9 1/2 year old girl and almost 11 year old boy. I will be sharing with you the joys and the whoas, and hope that I can help others understand their kids more and why they do and say the things that they do. Meet Cassandra....she is 9 1/2 going on 11. She is tallest in her class, more mature and very bright. She always makes straight A`s and finishes her homework in record time. She loves to read, write stories (where did she get that from?), ride her bike, rollerblade and play video games. Meet Arthur....he will be 11 soon, yet is ADHD and has some dyslexia, he acts and looks around 9 1/2. He tries very hard in school and has to have special resource classes to get by for his 2nd grade reading level and 1st grade writing level.He loves to draw comic book characters that he creates, collect and study astronomy and space, dual Yu-Gi-Oh cards with friends, ride his bike and play video games. You will be reading in the coming months their adventures and how they make it being with one another 24/7, even though they have separate rooms to retreat in. Stay tuned...you just might learn something or something might touch you, and you might even chuckle. Kids can do and say the darnest things.
